SHRI VADNAGAR NAGRIK MANDAL
Vadnagar Nagrik Mandal Trust established in 1944 at the heritage village of Vadnagar is an esteemed institute with basic objective of disseminating education in and around North Gujarat.
Vadnagar is a town and municipality in the Mehsana district of the state of Gujarat in India. It just about 35 km from Mehsana city. Its ancient names include Anartapura (the town of Anarta) and Anandapura. It was a Buddhist location visited by Xuanzang in 640 C.E. Historian and archaeologist Alexander Cunningham has identified Anandapura with the town of Vadnagar.Vadnagar is also the birthplace of Narendra Modi, the current Prime Minister of India.
On February 14, 1946 Shri B. N. Report of High School was set up by taking over from the Gujrat Government operated A.V. School. It was an English medium school till standard 5th since 1893 (today’s 9th standard), When the SVNM Trust took over it had only 5 five old rooms and a student’s strength of 150. But with progress and hard work by the trustee and members now we have a new building with secondary and higher secondary school till 12th standard with more than 1000 student with more than 20 class rooms
On 3.06.1957 the trust started primary school Shri N.T.Parikh from 1st to 4th standard.
